Community Outreach
At Taney County Health Department, community is at the heart of everything we do. Our Community Outreach team is dedicated to connecting individuals and organizations with vital health education, services, and resources. Whether it’s helping families with car seat safety, supporting mental health awareness, or working with local coalitions, our goal is to empower and protect the people who live, work, and play in Taney County.

Narcan Distribution
Opioid overdose reversal is possible with Narcan (Naloxone). We provide free Narcan Nasal Spray to individuals in the community to help prevent overdose deaths and support those in need.
Car Seat Safety Program
Did you know that the Taney County Health Department provides expert guidance on child passenger safety? As an official car seat fitting station, our team is staffed with certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians (CPSTs).
Health Education & Suicide Prevention Training
Support your community’s well-being with expert-led education. We speak on a wide variety of topics and are happy to tailor a presentation to the needs of your group.
